Newbies

We conducted an audition in Glee Club for second year and first year. Actually, it's really not my business anymore since those members would be part of the next year's batch. But of course, I could entirely leave that thing to the juniors.

Mr. Bautista already held audition for the second year last week. I've seen that most--or I think all--of them SLTCs.

I was being seriously serious with the audition. LOL. This night, I was texting with a new member and she said that others backed out because I scared them. Haha. I didn't thought I was capable of doing that. And anyway, I don't want members without guts, so if they're already scared with me now, what will gonna happen to them in the future?

The choirbox was filled with us that there were barely space. Kuya Darwin came just before the mass started to give me the piano chords for the song we're practicing in STC so I can learn it myself since I think I couldn't attend practices this week. He was also the one who played the organ for the mass.

And it was simply awesome! Yay! It was back in my first years days when I last saw the choirbox this full. For a long time, I was able to hear our voices this audible and harmonious. Our singing was a bit "noisy", though, and there were little off-key and off-notes from the newbies, but nevertheless, it was good. Awesome. Plus, kuya Darwin's skillful playing encouraged us to sing beautifully. Nadala niya kami, 'ika nga.

Hoho. I thanked kuya Darwin before we go, for the piano chords and for playing the organ for us.

Yay! I won't be worrying too much for the Glee Club anymore, since we found new members. We would be graduating soon, and I am afraid that because almost half of the choir is composed of the fourth year, the remaining members will have difficulties.

The only members we lacked are boys. I'm planning to train them next week.

P.S.

Lagot ako kay Kuya Darwin! Nabasa yung piano chord niya! DX Buti may nakita akong scans sa internet. Papaprint ko na lang. Mas kumpleto pa yung nakita ko. Haha!

TGIF~

Today was an awesome day. And the awesomeness continued until night. :>

Steni, Jette, and I were supposed to go to National Library today to research for the Chapter 2 of our theses. Due to some reasons, Steni couldn't come with us.

I was thinking of going to National Library all alone, but being someone who has poor sense of direction, I might get lost. I decided to go to Muntinlupa City Library instead. I don't know if Jette would like to come with me, since Steni's not coming. 'Yun pa, kay Steni nakadepende utak nun. I was sort of shy to ask him to come with me, so last night, I've set my mind that I mind that I'm going alone.

Steni called me up this morning and she confirmed that she couldn't come, though I was expecting it. I called Jette and her sister was the one who answered the phone and told him he's still asleep.

I want this day to be reproductive since we don't have classes. So, I'd really have to go alone.

Outcasts

I don't know what kind of people are they.
I don't know why I was put in this kind of section.
At that moment, I thought of them as despicable creatures.
My section is really fun. Really, really fun. You could laugh all day in this section until you roll on the floor and get your stomach hurt.

Our section is so much fun. But still, there are times when I really got pretty annoyed here.

Sa'min kasi, 'pag masaya, masaya talaga. As in, high ka sa kakatawa. Pero 'pag time na dapat nang magsersoyo, kapag meron nang mga bagay na related sa pag-aaral, maiinis ka na sa kanila. Kulang na lang sipain mo ang mga mukha.

Kasi, sa kalokohan lang kami magalaing.

Today, we were so happy. Our teachers on afternoon classes didn't attend class. Even Mr. Del Rio. There must be a meeting something.

Of course, like always, our classroom transformed into a Jurassic park. We're laughing our lungs out and yelling and teasing and playing. And that includes me, of course. If there's a noise, expect me to be one of those.

It was during our Physics time when our class really tuned into a jungle. They started throwing papers with each other. Almost everyone was involved in the paper-throwing fight, but I don't really care much about them since I was busy reading a book. Ganun na ko pag nagbabasa, wala nang pakialam sa ikot ng mundo.

I just noticed things had turned somewhat personal. They were throwing paper on Asis, the fattest boy in the class. No, not just in the class, but in fact, he must be the fattest boy in Liceo. I'm not kidding, no exaggeration. He was really fat.

Confiscation

We have our Arts class today, and we would be having a photo-taking activity because our lesson is about photography.

I bought my digicam with me for that, but my battery was drained. So I bought the charger in school too, and I plugged it on the outlet to have my and Koleen's battery charged.

Ber was playing a song loudly with his phone when Mr. Cejero got inside our room for our AP class. It was impossible for him not to hear it. He approached Ber, and in a calm façade he usually display when he is irked, he took his phone. Since the outlet where my charger is plugged was just beside Ber, he noticed it and he took it too.

Shit.

I Grew

Today was a nice day. Nothing extraordinary really happened, but things were good. What's even somehow funny is we tackled social issues in most of our subjects. Haha.

So yeah, I was late again. We have CAT today so we have to wear the Type C CAT uniform, and I was worrying since the other day on how I could hide the bruise without my bangs. I came to school with my hair still not fixed to hide the bruise on the side of my left eye, and thank goodness Steni didn't to bring the concealer that I asked from her yesterday. So, I was able to hide my bruise a little (the dark patch was still visible, though it wasn't that prominent na), but my eyes looked small and puffy because I applied so much concealer to hide it. Haha. Okay na 'yun! 8D

Friends

Today is probably one of the days that I love. Oh, nothing really special happened. Things seem to be just ordinary. But those ordinary things became special because they came from the people I love, from the people I treasure. From the people that showed concern.

Note: There were some things in this post you won't probably understand. I'd probably write them in a separate post. ^^

I badly need to go to school. I badly need to get away. I badly need to escape. And school is a place where I forget my problems. School is a hell sometimes, sure, but I would rather live in this place.

Grad Pic

We had our long overdue graduation picture today. Finally.

We were the only section who haven't had our picture taken. Our adviser said our picture-taking would be at 7:30am so he gave his time for us so we could fix ourselves (He was always lazy to teach anyway. *shot*). We put on make-up and stuffs. I had my hair curled by Cha and Julienne. You know that, the "tying-the-hair" curling style? Yeah.

Our third period teacher didn't showed up in our classroom, as usual, so it was a "vacant" time again. We were quite surprised when Ms. Bulilan, our Filipino and fourth-period teacher, entered the room but we didn't really complain. She was already giving us an activity when she realized that it wasn't our Filipino time yet and we were laughing and teasing her. She's laughing at herself too.

So we had our "vacant" time back, and we ended up playing with the make-up. I put on a concealer on Jette's birthmark (he has this dark birthmark on his right sideburn or "patilya", though it doesn't really look that horrible. We've gotten use with it already) and we ended up laughing and teasing him. Hahaha.

So what the hell had happened with our grad pic?

Welcome 2010

Officially opened new blog. Went to Landayan with Ayyah for the 3pm mass. Wasn't able to finish it because Glee club is scheduled to sing for the 4pm mass in Bayan. Headed back to Landayan right after the mass to sing for the 5pm mass. STC sang for three straight mass, actually. Had a short meeting with STC and went home at around 7:30PM.
